This blog is part of the course Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Context, and I’ll be using it throughout the semester as a place to think out loud. It’s not meant to document finished ideas or polished outcomes, but rather the process itself — the questions, the shifts, and the moments where things don’t quite land yet.
Entrepreneurship and innovation rarely follow a straight line. Ideas change. Directions shift. What starts as one thing often turns into something else along the way. That’s actually what I find most interesting following the trajectory of an idea and seeing how projects evolve through experimentation, iteration, and uncertainty.
I’m approaching this course with a strong sense of curiosity and a genuine excitement to explore new ways of thinking about this field. I believe that learning is a lifelong process, and that real growth often begins with acknowledging how much we don’t yet know. By staying curious, questioning assumptions, and approaching new perspectives with humility, I believe it’s possible to learn far more not only from clarity and outcomes, but also from uncertainty and not-knowing.
At the same time, I strongly believe that innovation should be grounded in a human perspective. Creating things with and for people rather than simply for systems, structures, or efficiency feels essential to me. Keeping a focus on what is meaningful, accessible, and genuinely useful for people is something I see as a core responsibility in both entrepreneurship and innovation.
With a background in product design and experience working as a web manager, I’m especially drawn to how ideas move from early concepts into real-world contexts. I’m interested in what happens when theory meets practice, and how organisational, social, and technological settings shape what innovation can become.
Throughout the course, this blog will function as a kind of public thinking space a place to reflect on readings, assignments, and the ongoing challenge of turning ideas into something that creates value, even as those ideas continue to evolve and change.
